Timothy Black is our senior staff attorney. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2013, having earned Dean’s List, a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Public Interest Recognition Award, and the Leadership and Service Recognition Award. Since graduating from Loyola, Tim has dived in and focused on defending a wide variety of criminal matters, including drug, violent, DUI and traffic offenses, and helped represent law enforcement officers in disciplinary hearings and in court. He is rapidly becoming an experienced litigator; his first jury trial with the LauraLaw was a murder case, followed a few months later by a federal conspiracy jury in Detroit, Michigan. Drawing upon his experience as an assistant to a family law solo practitioner in San Diego, CA, an extern in the chambers of United States District Court Judge Virginia M. Kendall, a Law Clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office, and federal 1983 litigation clerkships with the Illinois Attorney General and City of Chicago, he takes pride in providing a personalized, rigorous defense of your criminal matter.
