Laura and Dean are happy to welcome Suzanne Krause to the team.  She brings with her years of experience and success with the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney.  After graduating from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts and from DePaul University College of Law with a JD, Suzanne took a job as an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney.  As an ASA, Suzanne’s assignments included Criminal Appeals, Juvenile Court, the Children’s Advocacy Center, Felony Review Unit, Preliminary Hearings, Felony Trial Courts, and the Public Corruption and Financial Crimes Unit.  Throughout her time as an ASA, Suzanne tried more than 10 jury trials and well over 200 bench trials to verdict; with the Criminal Appeals Unit, she wrote numerous appeals and argued several times before the Illinois Appellate Court; and, in the Public Corruption and Financial Crime Unit, she investigated, indicted, and prosecuted complex financial and election-related felony offenses.  Suzanne looks to lend her vast experience in criminal law to the rigorous defense of each and every one of our clients.
