Last week was a crazy week here at LauraLaw!  Our fearless leader unfortunately broke her foot – in the most fabulous way possible, falling out of her UGG sandals – on Sunday and the whole team had to band together to make sure that the ugly boot she must wear doesn’t slow her down as she prepares for her upcoming trial!

The week started on Monday with Michael and Maddy joining Laura for an early morning doctor’s appointment down the street from the office. Luckily, no surgery is necessary which is great news because no one, especially Laura, has time waste recovering from surgery. Laura made us all laugh when she looked at the boot she has to wear and dryly stated, “It’s a sad day when this hideous thing is the option you were hoping for!”

But our resilient leader didn’t let it stop her! By Tuesday she was walking without crutches and by Wednesday and Thursday she was back to moving at her normal speed – she even managed to wear a high heel on her other foot! Determination really can get you through anything!
