Are You In The Mood For Some Monday Humor?

Chicago entertainment website Thrillist identified ten strange laws it is possible to break in one hour and, after doing our own research, we have added some of our favorites!

Some are strange, some are funny, but all are illegal.

1. In Pullman, it is illegal to drink beer out of a bucket while sitting on a curb.

2. Kites cannot be flown in city limits.

3. It is illegal to give whiskey to your dog.

4. Men can’t fish in their pajamas.

5. You can be arrested for vagrancy anywhere in Illinois if you do not have at least $1.00 on you.

6. Only police officers can use sling-shots.

7. It is illegal to take a nap on a dance floor.

8. Along the same vein, it is also illegal to dance barefoot.

9. In Cicero, it is illegal to hum on Sundays.

10. It is illegal to dine in a restaurant that is on fire.

11. It is illegal to protest naked in front of City Hall, but only if you are 18 or older.

12. Persons under the age of 21 can legally drink as long as it is part of a culinary program.

13. It is illegal to hang “obstructions” from your rearview mirror, including air fresheners, dice, or graduation tassels.

14. Mispronouncing “Joliet” is punishable by a $5.00 fine.

15. In Park Ridge, trucks must be parked inside a garage.

16. Finally, for all of the men our there who where mustache, it is illegal for you to kiss a woman in Eureka.
