This week was one of the busiest weeks we’ve had in lauralaw history!  We have been in court all day every day, including weekend bond court, and  almost every district in Cook County.

We welcomed four new clients, and thank them for putting their trust in us. We also successfully resolved cases for two of our clients. I want to thank our crack team for going the extra mile despite the challenges of weather, traffic, and putting up with me after having 2 planes and 2 separate trips cancelled for 2 weekends in a row!

Congrats to our law clerk, Kevin McMahon, for passing the Illinois Bar! Kevin already learned one of the workplace’s most important lessons: despite the fact that he did not actually pass the bar where he celebrated that night,  he answered the bell the next day, and showed up on time  ready to research!
